レッドカラント、ブラックカラント、プラム、ラズベリーの豊かな果実味が風味のあるタンニンと杉のようなオークのフレーヴァーに良く調和しています。

産地：マクラーレン・ヴェイル
品種：カベルネ・ソーヴィニヨン主体、シラーズ、メルロー醸造：15～20hlのアリエ産の樽で発酵、熟成。破砕、除伷後に発酵。1日に2～4回ポンピングオーバーを行いプレス後にタンクか樽でマロラクティック発酵。ブレンド後にフレンチオーク70％、アメリカンオーク30％のバリックとホグスヘッドで熟成(新樽10％)。
Lifted cassis and leaf with cedar and clove spice. The fragrant cabernet sauvignon dominates with bright red fruits and plums. The palate is rich and generous with plush dark fruits. The red and black currants, Satsuma plums, and raspberries are balanced by fine savory tannins and cedary oak.
Church Block was the first wine the late Greg Trott produced under the Wirra Wirra label back in 1972. He took the name from one of the original vineyards, which runs next to the small Bethany Church (Est 1854) across the road from Wirra Wirra’s century old ironstone cellars. Over four decades, the Church Block label has become an Australian favorite.
