Cambria Estate is located in the Santa Maria Valley, northern Santa Barbara County, California. For 35 years, the Jackson family has sustainably farmed its land atop the Santa Maria Bench on the coastal ridges of the valley. Here, sea air funnels in unobstructed from the nearby Pacific Ocean, tempering the sun that shines on the estate’s south-facing slopes and blanketing the vines in maritime fog. The unique combination of climate, diverse soil types, and striking geography make the site something extraordinary.
Originally planted in 1971, today the estate is led by sisters and proprietors Katie and Julia Jackson, and is acclaimed for its complex, site-specific chardonnay and pinot noir. Cambria winemaker, Jill Russell, crafts wines with a vibrance and flavour that speak to the Santa Maria Valley terroir. Every wine is an estate-grown-and-bottled, single-vineyard offering and certified sustainable - a faithful expression Cambria’s four distinct vineyards on just over 1,600 acres.
