Boutique Napa Valley producer Kinsman Eades is an exciting project by Australian expats Shae and Nigel Kinsman. Nigel is the winemaker and a highly respected Napa veteran, having spent many years working at or consulting for some of the region’s most iconic and prestigious estates.
The couple launched their own project in 2016, crafting premium expressions of single-vineyard cabernet sauvignon and some sauvignon blanc from tiny parcels of exceptional fruit from a selection of stellar Napa sites. With a love of unearthing unsung, hidden-gem vineyards that speak of both place and time, Nigel’s winemaking is attentive but restrained. The goal is to amplify site expression, with the pursuit of character over perfection.
Made in tiny quantities, these excellent, classically proportioned and compelling wines have achieved cult status.
