モンタルチーノの町の南、トスカーナの銘醸地ブルネッロ・ディ・モンタルチーノに位置するテヌータ・ボン・テンポ。古くから残るカステルヌオヴォ・デラバテの近くにワイナリーを構えています。ワイナリーからはユネスコ世界遺産にも登録されているヴァル・ドルシアの谷が眺められます。
所有する26haの畑は、ブドウだけでなくオリーヴや古木が自生しており、内12haでオーガニック栽培を実践、その中の5haはブルネッロ・ディ・モンタルチーノだけに集中した特別な区画です。栽培している品種はサンジョヴェーゼ・グロッソのみで、ロッソ・ディ・モンタルチーノを含めたボン・テンポのワインはこの品種の特徴を完璧に表現しています。ブドウは地上から地下に重力に伴って移動され醸造に移ります。野生酵母を用い、エレガンスや複雑さ、上質な果実の香りとスパイシーさを伴ったワインを手掛けるワイナリーとして高い評価を受けています。
Located in Tuscany’s famed Brunello di Montalcino wine-producing region just south of Montalcino and minutes from the ancient hamlet of Castelnuovo dell'Abate, Tenuta Buon Tempo overlooks the beautiful Val d'Orcia. The valley is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The 26-hectare property is composed of vines, olive groves and ancient woods. 12 hectares are given over to organically cultivated vineyards, 5 hectares of which are devoted exclusively to Brunello di Montalcino. The only grape grown is Sangiovese Grosso - the finest expression of the typical characteristics of Montalcino and the only varietal that can be included in its most prestigious wines, Rosso and Brunello, which represent the estate’s entire production. Fermented in the subterranean, gravity-fed winery using only native yeasts, the wines are very highly regarded - consistently elegant and complex, with luscious fruit and spice.
