有名なポムロールのコミューンにある魅力的なシャトーを飾る塔にちなんで名付けられたシャトー・ラトゥール・ア・ポムロールは、シャトー・ペトリュスのオーナーであったルバ夫人が1917年に購入しました。 1962年以降は、ボルドー右岸で最も影響力のあるネゴシアン、エタブリスモン・ジャン・ピエール・ムエックス社を通じてムエックス家が管理しています。ポムロール教会側の砂利と粘土、そしてシャトー周辺のローム層という多様な土壌がワインに複雑性とハーモニーを与えています。ボルドーの最高峰に匹敵する豊潤で凝縮感のあるワインは繊細さと力強さの完璧なバランスを備えています。
