Overseen by Edouard Labruyère, Champagne J.M Labruyère produces artisanal champagnes from its 6 hectares of grand cru vineyards located in the villages of Verzenay and Verzy. The vineyards are 70% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay, and the wines are aged in a vaulted, 18th century cellar. Of the 320 grape-growing villages in Champagne, only 17 are ranked grand cru. Verzenay is renowned for its Pinot Noir. The Montagne de Reims - a broad, undulating headland of forests and thickets protects the village and influences its terroir.
With a crisp palate and fragrant nose, these champagnes are robust and complex expressions of their grand cru sites, endowered with exceptional character, structure and ageing potential.
