イタリア最北部のアルト・アディジェのドロミティー山脈の麓に位置するアロイス・ラゲデールは1823年設立され今日５代目アロイス・ラゲデールと６代目アロイス・クレメンスが経営する家族経営のワイナリーです。

共存の精神と自然との調和の中で農業を営みたいという哲学の下、ワイナリーは55haの畑を所有し、ヴィオディナミを実践しています。さらに、ワイナリーに長期に渡りブドウを供給している80以上の栽培家は、サステイナビリティーを意識した農業を実践しており、ビオディナミやオーガニックの農家もあります。このサステイナブル（持続可能）な農業の実践はワインメイキングを通して一貫しています。CO2排出ゼロを目指し、ソーラーパネルや冷暖房施設使用の抑制、または環境に残る可能性のあるプラスチックやフォイルなどはすべてボトリングの過程から排除しています。1995年に完成した、伝統と革新を融合させたワイナリーは、今日のモダンワイナリー建築ブームの先駆けとなりました。

Founded in 1823, and now directed by Alois Lageder and Alois Clemens Lageder, representing the fifth and sixth generation of family ownership, this estate sits at the foot of the stunning Dolomites in Alto Adige, Italy's northernmost wine region.

With a strong holistic corporate philosophy and a desire for agriculture that is in tune with nature, the estate cultivates all 55-hectares of its vineyard holdings biodynamically. In addition, they have encouraged roughly half of the 80 long-term partnering grape growers they work with to farm sustainably - some are biodynamic, others are organic. This sustainable approach carries through to the winery - striving for zero carbon emissions, it is solar powered with natural temperature control, and all plastic and foil have been eliminated from the bottling process. Combining tradition and innovation, the winery was hailed as the harbinger of a boom in contemporary architecture in Alto Adige when it was completed in 1995.

The Alois Lageder range of wines is wide, reflecting the extraordinary diversity of the Alto Adige region and its spectrum of grape varieties. All the wines - from the beautifully elegant pinot noirs to the luscious chardonnays – are extremely precise with immense vitality and freshness.
