マルゴー・アペラシオンに位置するシャトー・フェリエールは、左岸におけるブティックプロデューサーです。シャトーの歴史は18世紀まで遡り、シャトーの名前は当時のオーナー、船舶の仲買人で、王が狩猟に行く際の守人であったガブリエル・フェリエールから来ています。シャトー・フェリエールは1855年のボルドーワインの格付けにおいて3級に格付けされ、フェリエール家のオーナーシップは1914年まで続きました。今日では、ヴィラー家によって所有され、クレア・ヴィラー・リュルトンにより経営されています。2000年より、クレアは有機栽培及びビオディナミ農法に着手し始めました。歴史あるシャトーに新たな息吹を吹き込んだこの取り組みにより、ワインのスタイル、質ともに劇的に進化しました。シャトー・フェリエールは1855年の格付けシャトーの中では最も規模の小さいシャトーの一つです。マルゴーにはいくつかのコミューンがありますが、20haの畑は主にアペラシオンの心臓部であるマルゴー・コミューンの中に位置しています。土壌はガロンヌ川がもたらす砂利質の土壌に、チョークの混じった泥灰質土壌で、クラシックで典型的なメドック地方のテロワールです。ビオディナミの原理に基づいた栽培を行っており、クレアはこの農法によりワインにフィネス、深みやバランスがもたらされ、シャトーのテロワールが最大限に表現されると確信しています。2015年にはオーガニックの、2018年にはビオディナミの認証を取得しました。
