トスカーナ州の中心部、グラッチャーノ村の近くに位置するアジエンダ・アグリコラ・ポリツィアーノは、1961年にディーノ・カルレッティによって設立されました。モンテプルチャーノのコミューンの54エーカーの土地から、ディーノの息子フェデリコ・カルレッティと、フェデリコの子供であるフランチェスコとマリア・ステラの指揮の下、この農園はモンテプルチャーノ、近隣のコルトーナ、トスカーナ沿岸のマレンマ地方で500エーカーを超える土地を所有するまでに成長しました。
ポリツィアーノは、細心の注意を払ったブドウ園の管理で知られています。クローンの選択、植え付けレイアウト、台木、剪定方法、トレーニング システムはすべて、ブドウの最高品質を確保するという唯一の目的で実施されます。ブドウの植え付けは密集しており、さまざまなテロワールを最大限に生かすためにブドウは区画ごとに収穫されます。焦点は、地元の優れた品種であるサンジョヴェーゼにあります。ブドウ園は持続可能な方法で栽培されており、2021年にオーガニック認証を取得しました。
重力式ワイナリーでは、伝統的な技法と現代技術が融合しています。光学式選別機により少量バッチでのワイン醸造が可能になり、各区画のワインを引き立て、決して強すぎない繊細なオーク材が選ばれます。

Located in the heart of Tuscany near the village of Gracciano, Azienda Agricola Poliziano was founded by Dino Carletti in 1961. From 54 acres in the commune of Montepulciano, under the direction of Dino’s son Federico Carletti, and Federico’s own children, Francesco and Maria Stella, the estate has grown to over 500 acres of holdings in Montepulciano, nearby Cortona and coastal Tuscany's Maremma region.
Poliziano is known for meticulous vineyard management. Clone selection, planting layouts, rootstock, pruning methods and training systems are all implemented with the sole object of ensuring utmost quality in the grapes. Plantings are dense and the grapes are harvested parcel-by-parcel to best showcase the various terroirs. The focus is on Sangiovese - the local variety par excellence. The vineyards are farmed sustainably, with organic certification achieved in 2021.  
In the gravity-fed winery, traditional techniques are embraced alongside modern technology. An optical sorter allows for small-batch vinifications, with sensitive oak selections that complement each parcel and are never overpowering.
