有名なポムロールの台地にあるシャトー・ラフルール・ペトリュスはボルドー右岸の最も影響力のあるネゴシアン、エタブリスモン・ジャン・ピエール・ムエックス者の創設者、故ジャン・ピエール・ムエックスが1952年に購入し、現在もムエックス家が所有しています。
 
畑はシャトー・ペトリュスのすぐ近くで、シャトー・ラフルールの畑にも隣接していることから、 ラフルール・ペトリュスという名前が付けられました。このアペラシオン内の全てのシャトーと同様に格付けはありませんが、トップクラスのシャトーとみなされており、ポムロールの最高峰とまではいかないものの、それに近いレベルの品質を保持しています。ムエックス社が所有するシャトー・ペトリュスやシャトー・トロタノワと同じように、エレガントで官能的かつ洗練されたスタイルで何十年にも渡り美しく熟成する能力を秘めています。
 
Château La Fleur-Pétrus, located on the famed Pomerol plateau, has been owned by the Moueix family since 1952 when it was purchased by the late Jean Pierre Moueix, founder of the most influential negoçiant house of Bordeaux’s Right Bank, Établissements Jean-Pierre Moueix.
 
The estate takes its name from its closest neighbours - the vineyard is a stone’s throw from Château Petrus and also abuts the vines of ChâteauLa Fleur. Like all châteaux within this appellation, Château La Fleur-Petrus is unclassified, and yet today is considered among the top growths, possessing a level of quality approaching, if not equalling the very best in Pomerol and a character quite similar to Établissements Jean-Pierre Moueix stablemates Château Pétrus and Château Trotanoy – an elegant, sensuous, finessed style of Bordeaux that has the ability to age and gracefully improve for decades.
