プロヴァンスの中心部、オリーヴ畑やブドウ畑、森に囲まれたコランと呼ばれる小さな村にシャトー・ミラヴァルは位置しています。ミラヴァルは中世において修道院だった歴史があり、ブルボン朝の王たちの隠れ家でもありました。さらに近年では、レコーディング・スタジオとなり、ピンク・フロイド、スティングやシャーデー等のアーティストたちに愛されています。クランベリーズやジプシー・キングスもこのスタジオを永らく使用し数々のレコーディングを行っています。
　
2009年にブラッド・ピットとアンジェリーナ・ジョリーがワイナリーを購入、シャトー・ド・ボーカステルで有名なペラン・ファミリーもシャトー・ミラヴァルのプロジェクトに参画しました。ミラヴァルの土地のテロワールを最大限生かしたワインを作るために、2つのファミリーは畑やワイナリーへ惜しみない投資を続けています。高い標高と冷涼な気候は、軽やかでエレガントなワインスタイルを産み出します。
ミラヴァルといえば凝縮度の高い、ミネラルに富みフリンティで花の香が立つロゼで知られていますがここで造り出される全てのレンジのワインは、美しい色合いとプロヴァンスの洗練、エレガンスが表現されています。
　
今やワイン界のスーパースター、シャトー・ミラヴァルはプロヴァンスの中でも最も洗練され、探し求められているロゼワインです。

美しく淡い花びらのようなピンク色。新鮮な果実と春の花々のアロマが溢れ、フレッシュな酸と素晴らしいミネラル、塩味を感じるフィニッシュに続きます。

醸造：収穫は朝行い2回選果。除梗後、サンソー、グルナッシュ、ロールは直接圧搾、シラーの一部はセニエを行い、温度管理をしたステンレスタンク95％と樽5％で醸造、バトナージュを行う。

Nestled in a secluded valley near the ancient village of Correns in the heart of Provence, and surrounded by woods, olive groves and vineyards, Château Miraval was the site of a monastery in the Middle Ages, and thereafter a refuge for the Bourbon kings. More recently, it has been a recording studio, with the likes of Pink Floyd, Sting, Sade, The Cranberries and The Gipsy Kings recording some of their finest work here over the years.
　
The château made headlines in 2009 when it was purchased by actors Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who subsequently joined forces with the the Perrin family of the renowned Château de Beaucastel to launch the Château Miraval wine brand. The families together have invested deeply in the vineyards and estate with the aim of producing the very best wines the terroir can produce. The higher altitude and cooler sites of the vineyard lead to light, fresh and elegant style of wines.
　
Best known for its intense, flinty, petal-pink rosés, all the wines in the Miraval range are inspired by the colour and light of Provence, exuding refinement and elegance.
Now considered a superstar winery in its own right. Château Miraval produces some of the finest and most sought after rosés in Provence.

Tucked away in its own private valley in the ancient village of Correns - the first organic village in France - Miraval covers 500 hectares of land in the heart of Provence. Miraval sits at the foot of Via Aurelia - an extensive route built to facilitate Roman expansion in the 3rd century BC - representing centuries of history. Following Celtic settlement and Roman occupation, the property served as host to monastic practice and as home to members of the French Court, appearing in the Registry of Noble Houses in the 14th Century.
At an altitude of 350 meters, the vines are privileged to enjoy warm, sunny days and cool nights, bringing freshness and balance to the wines. The natural clay and chalk soils are important in retaining vital water supply while at the same time draining excess water, contributing to healthy grape maturation.
In 1970, the well-known jazz pianist and composer Jacques Loussier took ownership of Miraval, turning it into a recording studio - Le Studio de Miraval. There, a number of famous musicians like Pink Floyd, Sting, Sade, The Cranberries, and The Gipsy Kings came to record music. Today, Miraval is a summer residence of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who have given impetus to the heart of the estate as a place dedicated to the arts - music, cinema, theatre, local food, and fine wine.
The domaine consists of 400 hectares (1000 acres) of which 30 hectares on the valley floor are devoted to vines. The château, in a modest vernacular style, has thirty-five rooms, a spa, Jacuzzi, twin gyms, and an indoor pool. It is surrounded by gardens with a moat, fountains, ancient aqueducts, a pond, and a chapel.
